Chevy Safety Assist is a vital part of the Trax’s safety network. The Chevy Safety Assist package contains a series of assistive driving functions that can tackle common causes of accidents. This includes Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam automatic high beams, and Forward Collision Alert.
Other safety features of the Chevrolet Trax include Buckle to Drive and Rear Seat Reminder. Buckle to Drive keeps you from driving without your seatbelt on by blocking you from shifting the SUV out of PARK until your belt is fastened. Rear Seat Reminder prevents children and pets from being left behind in the vehicle by using an audio and visual alert that reminds you to check the back seat before leaving.
