2025 Chevy Colorado Trim Levels: Mid-Size Truck Power
WT
The Colorado’s base trim is a tough truck sporting a 2.7-liter TurboMax engine. It has an output of 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, delivering a powerful performance and contributing to the truck’s strength. It can tow up to 7,700 pounds and has a payload capacity of 2,046 pounds. Its ultra silver metallic wheels are 17 inches in size and are outfitted with all-season tires. Cargo tie-down rings and a storage compartment in the bed are available,
Like all the other Colorado models, it has an 11.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless smartphone connectivity. Google built-in is available, too. The truck also has a 12-volt outlet and two USB ports in the cabin.
LT
The LT shares many features with the base trim, including the capability, engine, and size of the wheels. StowFlex storage is standard in the bed. This storage compartment is wide and shallow, and it keeps important cargo out of sight. This trim adds a remote start feature. You can enhance wireless phone charging in the cabin, and there are more standard USB ports in this trim.
Trail Boss
Most of the features of the first two trims carry over into the Trail Boss, including the engine and towing capacity. It has some great features for off-roading, including a 2-inch factory-installed lift, all-terrain tires, an off-road performance display, and four selectable drive modes. Its maximum payload capacity is 1,726 pounds. There are numerous off-roading features available, including a 30-inch grille light bar and flexible off-road splash guards.
Z71
With its 32-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, off-road performance display, and selectable drive modes, the Z71 is another trim that’s great for adventuring in. Its engine and towing capacity are the same as the previous trims, but its payload capacity is 1,733 pounds. There are available add-ons that make off-road trips better, including auxiliary off-road lights, black off-road assist steps, and a 40-inch off-road roof light bar.
ZR2
The ZR2 has the same engine as the previous trims, but it has a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,445 pounds. It’s a real off-roading machine with its standard 33-inch mud-terrain tires, three-inch factory-installed lift, and five selectable drive modes. The ZR2 Bison edition gives this trim even more capability, as it has 35-inch tires, five boron steel skid plates, 12.2 inches of ground clearance, and military-grade capability.
